Special comprehensive boarding school of І-ІІ level for mentally retarded children in Dashiv

The boarding school is situated in the old time estate owned to the Earl of Pototskyj and its buildings are compatible to the architectural monument of the 18th century.

In 1960 there was formed the children’s home for the children, whose parents were repressed, starting from 1963 it was renamed to the secondary boarding school for mentally retarded children. Teaching staff numbers 36 educationalists.

Such clubs as “Skillful hands”, "Fine needlework", "Choreography", "Book’s friends", “Sport” successfully run at the school.

The boarding school was established in 1985.

Nowadays 26 teachers, 30 educators and 10 medical persons work here. Such circles as vocal, choreographic, brass band, bandura players, skillful hands, floriculturists, computer, needlework, dramatic art, volleyball, and marksman run at the school.

Comprehensive secondary boarding school of I-III level in the name of Pidhorbuns’kyj

The boarding school was established in 1963. It is mainly for children, who don’t have necessary conditions for learning at home and education in family. Teaching staff numbers 35 persons. The school becomes financial support from the regional budget and is subordinated to the Regional Council and Board of Education.
