RESULTS OF OUR TRIP TO MOSCOW:
The first examination by the geneticist and dietician who advised us in April showed the positive dynamics in Timosha’s motor and mental development. It was noticed that tonus of his arms and legs significantly decreased, thanks to our daily massages.
After a couple of days of cycle examinations (ultrasound examinations of all organs and systems, ECG, EEG, MRI, many different tests), doctors told us they hadn't found anything new and bad. They just confirmed our previous diagnosis. The only thing that alerted them was biochemistry of blood. They didn’t like a few figures in it, namely, leukocytosis, renal and liver function tests ... They said that those must be monitored regularly! And, of course our CHOLESTEROL; in Moscow it was 2.65 ... 
On the second day we were appointed a course of treatment: they began to use Cerebrolysin and do physiotherapy (electrophoresis with neostigmine methylsulfate and aeroionotherapy).
A lot of times they did blood tests, both from a finger and vein, which Timosha did not like. Everybody was polite and kind. All experts who examined Timosha noted that the baby is very affectionate and gentle; all were stricken by his smile and the fact that with all his "bouquet" of illnesses and vices of fetal development he's trying hard to be like all normal children! And he stands to win! We just have to do our best and do everything in time, namely plastic surgery on the palate and genital organs. 
It turned out we would need another surgery. Timosha needs to have his right eyelid corrected in the nearest future ... Children who have congenital ptosis in which the upper eyelid covers the pupil require surgery to raise the eyelid. If congenital ptosis is not eliminated, it can interfere with normal development of the visual system, leading to amblyopia (it's called "lazy eye"). Patients with ptosis have problems with blinking movements which can lead to fatigue, irritation and eye infections. Ptosis usually does not go alone and almost always requires surgery. In most cases, surgery aims at strengthening the muscle that lifts the upper eyelid. If this muscle is weakened, the surgeon will need to raise the eyelid and eyebrow. Ophthalmic operation is performed under local anesthesia, except for children.
To be able to make all these operations in time we need to actively raise cholesterol and gain weight... 
Timosha is trying hard, but vomiting, unfortunately, still happens ... And now, teeth are growing which results in raising temperature, weakness and loss of appetite... 
The next stage of treatment, the first urology surgery, requires an amount of 152 000 rubles + 20 000 rubles for a few courses of treatment appointed in Moscow in the summer-autumn.
Timosha becomes more mature and more interesting every day. Though still not sitting he turns upside very quickly. He is trying to crawl and wants to sit down already! He supports himself with his own arms and lifts the chest, carefully studying new toys and new faces. He holds the head almost surely and stands on the legs for 1-1,5 minutes ... A lot of "talking" in different tones and volume ... He's gained 200 grams, but that is so important to us, because this is the first weight gain for over the last 6 months. The teeth are growing. We believe this is the result of special nutrition, so we keep hoping we succeed!
The eye and eyelid need to be quickly investigated and prescribed the proper treatment in order not to lose time as Timosha’s sight already begins deteriorating ... We went to the Center of Eye Microsurgery recently. We managed to be examined by a very good microsurgery. She studied Timosha carefully and appointed a more sophisticated examination of both eyes ... As soon it is possible we will go again ... In the meantime, she said to lift Timosha’s eyelid and glue it by plaster to his forehead ... It's very sad; I remember the times when we did it and Timosha was nervous, and plaster left traces on his body... And now again ... Poor kid... 
We got only 1000 grivnas on our account but we so grateful for it.

Thanks to all good people Olya (mother) was able to consult the specialists in Moscow and now there is a real chance for the treatment of Timothy. The only problem is money. Here's a letter from her:
"Once again I ask you for help!" The fact is that we went to Moscow for consultations and will be hospitalized in June in RAMS Scientific Center for Children. Unfortunately we are still in lack of money. I am asking you to add news about Timosha - maybe someone will respond and help us gather the first UAH 25 000 to be hospitalized in the RAMS Center!

We were able to get to all the consultations that had been planned! Unfortunately, all the results of our examinations were disappointing.
Surgeons (both maxillofacial and urologist) refused to do the surgery because of the large shortfall in weight. The first operation is planned for October 19th if Timosha's weight is gained. The genetic doctor wanted to put is in hospital immediately, but unfortunately, he didn't find a free place.

A nutritionist has created a diet for us and prescribed a course of choleretic therapy. Now we are waiting for a call from the Scientific Center of Child Health RAMS to behospitalize. All the doctors were attentive and friendly to us! We are so grateful to them!
Let's hope that the new diet will gain weight for Timosha quickly -- it is vital to carry both planned operations in time -- in urology and St.Vladimir Maxillofacial Surgery Hospital after 19 October.

Unfortunately, we need a lot more money for the next trip. Here's a rough calculation: 
1.St.Vladimir Hospital - 3100 rubles \ bed per day (not less than 20 days) and 2 000 euros for the first operation in urology. Maxillofacial surgeons have not decided what the amount of surgical intervention will be, thus they could not give us the amount of how much the treatment will cost even approximately. Total 62 000 rubles (15 500 UAH) and 2 000 euros, it's only urology. 
2. RAMS Scientific Child Health Center - hospitalization in the department of psychoneurology (all babies diagnosed with SLO are put it there) requires 50 000 rubles that have to be paid in cash immediately upon check in to the hospital. A further 50 000 should be paid for additional tests. Total 100 000 rubles (about 25 000 UAH). 
WE already have the invitation to the St.Vladimir hospital. We are now waiting for a call from the RAMS Children's Health Research Center. It is clear that the possibility of hospitalization for Timosha now depends on the amount of funds we have, but it's too much for us. I really hope that together we will give the baby a chance to enjoy a full life!
Together we are a force! In case of Timosha we don't need any miracles. He has many problems but they all can be solved. He can be successfully operated, and as to his main disease, with an adequate diet and monitoring (thank God, there are people to monitor him in Moscow), he can live a full life .. It all about the price question that is the primary question for us now.
